Ginger Snap Cookie

Ok, so here's some general updates on what I've been doing.

The car has been out of commission for two weeks, but a friend of mine just fixed it.  He's going to bring it to my place on Saturday and then I'm going to drive him home as I have to go to Costco, Canadian Tire and find a Future Shop.

I've been staying after work 4 nights per week for approximately 3 hours a night to do my Autocad course.  I got really stuck for 3 days and then finally found someone to ask to help me.  Module 3 was hellish, but I've finally gotten through it and am in Module 4.  It's funny, sometimes it takes me a massive amount of time to understand something and then *boom* everything I look at I understand.  That was this evening, understood everything I looked at and got through half the module.  I wish that was the case for everything.  Hopefully from now on, the course will go smoothly.

Friday night went out and got ripped to shreds by two co-workers.  Which would explain the rather vehement (albeit a little drunken) post.  I still feel that way though.  I deserve to succeed.  And who knows, once I get through this...I may go further than anyone expects.

Lotus was supposed to go to surgery for her eyelid problem, but I didn't go to the vet before the estimate ran out.  I got a new estimate and they jacked up the price....double what it was!!!!!  How ridiculous.  I'm now looking for a new vet as I so can't afford the price they want....and I don't necessarily want to pay double.....that's just a mad money grab!  On the bright side...whatever was on her lid seems to have shrunk.  I'm still going to look for a new vet and get rid of it for her.

That's all I can think of for now...I'd better go to bed...I slept in this morning!! Not good...
