Scrapbooking Mania

Well, lately I've been scrapbooking my Puerto Vallarta photos.  This was from the vacation I took in 1999 with my Mom and Dad.  I thought I was almost done, but I found more pictures.  *sigh*  I always take a massive amount of pictures when I'm away and I also always take a camera with me everywhere I go.  Hey, you never know when you will need them.  I think I accidentally threw out one very important picture.  Peeve me off!!!

At any rate, now I have a whole lot more pictures to scrapbook.  That's alright, I love looking at them.

I'm not a great scrapbooker.  I tend to go very simple.  It's not that I don't like the more fancy pages, because I do.  Some of the reason that I am going simple is that I am inexperienced with scrapbooking.  But I'm finding that even though I am inexperienced, I kind of like the simplicity.  Which is weird because for most things I like to go fancy.  I like it that the pictures are the main focus of what I'm doing.  I like the memories they invoke in me and I like writing down those memories with the photos.

I'm finding that scrapbooking is very relaxing for me.  It does tend to be a little expensive, but I try to buy bulk where ever possible.  Costco has a lot of inexpensive bulk scrapbooking supplies.  I also have a lot of stickers and such that I've bought previously...so I'm trying to use them up.

There's also a lot of video podcasts that I download for free to get ideas for a variety of papercrafts.  Free is definitely cheaper than buying magazines!

Anyway, I got the photos of the condo we stayed at into my scrapbook this evening....those are some of the ones I found this evening...so that's cool.

Phoenix

Oh MY God!!

So I get home (finally after grocery shopping) and decide that I want to continue from last night the scrapbooking that I was really on a roll with.  The only reason I stopped was because I couldn't find my roll of adhesive and had used a sample of adhesive that I was given, which ran out quickly.  Since it was late, I thought it was a good idea to stop anyway and thought that I would find my roll the next day (today).

Well, I got home and I've been looking for the darn thing for hours.  I searched low and high, high and low.  Finally I thought to heck with it.  So I went to the kitchen and as I passed my little table, something caught my eye.  On top of the last bit of mess in the living room...atop a little pile of books that are the last to be put away, sat my adhesive.  I swear that it was staring at me triumphantly, laughing.

On the plus side, I did find some scrapbooking stuff that I was wondering about their location and I also found my mini stapler that I've been looking for.  :)
